A State Beyond the Pale now out in paperback, Kindle edition also now available on Amazon

Just to inform readers that my book, A State Beyond the Pale: Europe’s Problem with Israel, is now available in paperback. It has a new foreword bringing it up to date and making a few comments about the book’s reception.

Amazon is selling it at £5.99 which is a bargain! So, if you haven’t bought the book already (either for yourself, a friend, your member of parliament or whoever) here’s encouraging you to go out and buy it.
To purchase it on Amazon, click here.

The Kindle edition is also available on both Amazon.com ($9.28) and Amazon.co.uk (£5.98).

  1. Steven Says:

I would buy it, but I already have a copy. Any chance of bringing us up to date on the foreword via your blog?

Robin Shepherd says: To be honest, if you read the blog you have already read pretty much everything the new foreword contains.

  2. I.Binyamin Says:

Robin, is there a way to buy the book in an electronic version?
Failing that is it sold in Israel?

Robin Shepherd says: And also in answer to Joshua, if you go on Amazon and click on the section prompting a message to the publishers about a Kindle edition, that should do the trick. Actually, if you go on amazon.com rather than amazon.co.uk I think it is available. A Spanish friend of mine bought it for his kindle there. And it is available in Israel in paperback at Steimatzky. A friend said he saw it last week.

  3. Joshua Says:

And when will it be out in Kindle?

“To be honest, if you read the blog you have already read pretty much everything the new foreword contains.”

Ahem. I imagine that your publisher would prefer it put this way:

“My recent blog entries are but a small taster of what you will find in
the new foreword. The book is well worth the price of £5.99. After all, what can you buy for £5.99 these days?”

    at the Dizengoff branch

Boo hoo! The paperback doesn’t seem to be available in the US yet! Do you know when it will be?

Robin Shepherd says: I’m sorry to say that I don’t yet have a US publisher. So, I don’t know. BUt you could order it on amazon.co.uk and get them to mail it over…

Thanks for writing the book. I have to admit it did make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, the image that crossed my mind throughout the book, was, appeasement, appeasement, appeasement.

I just hope it does not instil an irrational sense of paranoia in my mind.

Once again thanks for penning the book.

    Barry
